Consistent and Confident Kitchens for 20 Speculative Apartments
KCA first partnered with Berkeley Homes almost three decades ago and has since delivered kitchens across a range of their developments. This Steuart Library development is a collection of 20 new-build apartments, including three penthouses, at the prestigious country estate Sunningdale Park.
KCA was appointed following challenges with Berkeley Homes previous trade kitchen supplier.We stepped in to provide a reliable trade kitchen solution, meeting the demands of the project demands whilst working to reduce pressure on the build team.
We designed and installed 20 modern shaker kitchens, with adjoining utility spaces for the 3 penthouse apartments. The kitchen designs needed to reflect the development’s Georgian-inspired architecture, striking the right balance between timeless classic styling and the modern performance expected of a luxury new build home.
As a new build development catering to speculative buyers we provided the additional upgrade options expected by today’s new home purchasers. Across the project of 20 plots, we managed buyer upgrades including penthouse redesigns, material changes and bespoke furniture finishes throughout.
The KCA scheme includes 10 kitchen variations across the apartments, ranging from 1,800 to 2,700 sq-ft, all delivered with consistent finishes and quality.
The development uses our premium German kitchen furniture, Hacker Systemat. The smooth shaker cabinetry and dark wood veneers give a premium feel, that is highly fashionable whilst working with the timeless Georgian interior style of the properties. The reeded glass details in the dressers units, stone worktops and antique brass accents set the tone for this premium development.
To ensure a cohesive flow between spaces the kitchen furniture was factory-painted and colour matched with the interior scheme of each apartment. Flawlessly finished in variations of Farrow & Ball, Blackened, Moles Breathe, Elephants Breathe and Skimming Stone.
Siemens appliances were chosen for their premium specification, offering desirable cooking functionality for future home buyers.
