Located in the village of Thorpe in Surrey sits a development of six new-build family homes, designed and built by property developer, Burwood Rumsby.

Having worked on projects together for approximately 20 years, Burwood Rumsby approached KCA to design and install the kitchens and fitted bedroom furniture across all six properties.

The brief

The brief was to create an open plan kitchen diner to suit modern, social family life with plenty of additional storage space for growing families.

The style of the kitchens were to be of a classic style, but with a contemporary take, complementing the exterior of the newly built properties.

KCA were also asked to advise on the architects plans to ensure the best use of space had been considered fully.

Timeless styling

To harmonise with the style of the properties, timeless in-frame shaker style kitchens were designed and installed by KCA.

Using Daval’s British made furniture in a combination of Cashmere and Truffle tones, Beltrami Quartz worktops in Bianco Masa and integrated Siemens appliances, the result was a highly desirable modern interpretation on a traditional kitchen.
