This handmade, hand painted Davonport kitchen was designed by KCA for a family in Surrey. To complement the style of their newly built home, the kitchen is designed in a classic shaker style handpainted in a soft grey with an accent blue kitchen island. Traditional features such as the mantel above the hob give the kitchen design a quintessential English feel, which is also reflected in the craftsmanship of the dovetail drawers and handcrafted cutlery inserts.
The large double larder provides additional storage for non-perishable foods, space to store worktop appliances out of sight, and dedicated storage for two bespoke tea trays. Handcrafted in walnut to match the cupboard interiors in the rest of the kitchen and finished with embossed leather handles, the tea trays are the perfect accessory to the kitchen and can be hidden neatly in the larder when not in use. The kitchen appliances were chosen to reflect the family’s requirements, including Miele ovens and Fisher & Paykel refrigeration and wine cabinet.
