Recognising the demand from vloggers and influencers seeking upscale filming locations, our clients transformed their home into a luxurious space available for rentals and photo shoots. A premium kitchen design that would shine from every angle was central to their vision. Their renovation project included a single-storey side extension and a garden overhaul, involving the removal of a connecting wall to create a luxurious cooking and entertaining space.
With a trusted builder on board, they chose KCA to design an innovative kitchen that would seamlessly blend functionality with style. Our designers enjoyed the creative challenge of designing a kitchen that the family would love to use whilst also making it a desirable high-end filming location.
We chose a moody, sumptuous combination of finishes and a striking kitchen island to create the ‘wow factor’ our clients were looking for. The grooved walnut used for the wall cabinets and island feature panel adds warmth and texture to the bold, grey, putty concrete cabinets.
A stand-out feature is the dedicated bar area opposite the kitchen, making this the ultimate open-plan party space. Of course, no entertaining space would be complete without mood lighting, so the kitchen also features integrated accent lighting which illuminates the walnut wall units and island panel. This combination of sleek modern design, moody finishes and dramatic lighting create a sophisticated space that seamlessly transitions from day to night. A perfect backdrop for day and evening filming.
Utility Area
Off the main the kitchen we designed a prep kitchen and utility area which includes an additional induction hob, sink, integrated freezer, and washing machine. The perfect place for tasks that might otherwise disturb the stunning kitchen space.
