A modern kitchen design that blends functionality and style to create a family-friendly space. Our client, a passionate cook and mother of two girls, desired a space where everyone could come together and enjoy each other’s company while meals were being prepared. Despite limited space, our goal was to create a kitchen that catered to the family’s needs, including a dedicated dining area with fitted bench seating.
With a focus on ample storage to create a clutter-free and organised modern space, we went above and beyond to provide our clients with many options. For a kitchen with a small footprint, it boasts an impressive amount of storage, ensuring every item has its place.
The cleverly designed banquette seating even features secondary storage below, maximising every inch of space whilst providing comfortable soft seating, perfect for casual dining, relaxed conversation and homework. The kitchen design even incorporates a double larder, the ideal place to store appliances, cooking utensils and ingredients.
The client opted for modern German kitchen furniture in tactile laminate, ensuring longevity and easy maintenance. The design uses a combination of flat-panel cabinetry with handless and handled doors. In this on-trend yet timeless kitchen, we decided on a neutral colour scheme incorporating on-trend elements such as tactile acoustic panels for that modern touch. We specified elegant and durable quartz worktops from our partner Silestone for this hard-working family kitchen.
The design features a suite of Siemens appliances, including a combi oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, wine cooler, and washer-dryer, seamlessly integrated into the modern design, combining high functionality with sleek aesthetics.
