Melanie joined the KCA team in 2016. With a Post Graduate Diploma in Interior Design and having worked in the industry since 2006, Melanie was awarded New Designer of the Year (Designer Magazine) in 2007.

When asked about her favourite part of the KCA journey she says:
“The endless possibilities and ideas for a space and then narrowing it down to the tiniest detail to make sure it will all work for the client.”

When asked what she enjoys most about working for KCA she says:
“The pace of life! We are fortunate to have a wonderful array of lovely clients who make the job enjoyable and fantastic colleagues who make the days fly by.”

Melanie’s top tip for anyone about to begin a kitchen or bedroom project:
“Think about as many different ideas before you start and then when you’ve made the decisions, stick with them. Changing too far into a project can cause havoc.”

Outside of work Melanie has a young son and enjoys spending time with him and her family. She loves to watch her son play football and when she has a moment to herself, she spends time practicing yoga, baking and reading.
